History of Graphics- Persuasion AD

Persuasion technique used: (Pathos, Logos, Repetition, Emotional words)

Logos- by using images from games that was released for the Playstation 5 I showed proof of what the Sony Playstation 5's system can do in terms of graphics and details.

Pathos- by quoting "experience next generation gaming in 4k" I believe I am able to attract their feelings towards buying a playstation 5 so that they can experience and play games with astounding graphics and resolution.

Repetition- I kept on using the the words "next gen/next generation" because it is the next generation of gaming. The Playstation 5 and the Xbox series X's is the leveled up level of gaming for it offers realistic graphics, a new and faster performing hardware that is designed to handle the latest games in the market. "Next gen" or the "next generation" terms are always used in advertising brand new  gaming systems for the sole purpose of attracting video game enthusiasts.

Emotional Words- In the ad I used "Experience next generation gaming at it's finest in 4k" because that alone is enough to attract gamers to make them buy and afford the new system because in the world of video games, the higher the resolution the better it is so by saying "experience" and "4k" it could immediately hook their emotion and with the help of the images its a sure fire way to make them attracted to buy the new Sony Playstation 5.

Elements of Art used: (Shape, Color, Space)

Shape- for the shape I used a different variation of rectangle a single snipped corner rectangle so that way it does not look boring to look at rather than using the classic rectangle.

Color- I used blue color for the background because it is mainly the identifying color for Playstation models the default user interface in Playstations is usually blue and when sony holds conferences they always use blue so I thought it's only fitting to use blue for this advertisement. For the text "This. Is. NEXT. GEN." I used the colors pink, blue, green and salmon that symbolizes the buttons in playstation controllers.

Space- for the space I used  different perspective for the shapes in the images to create the illusion of space and then used reflection for the effects to make it look like a screen on stage.
